Off to the UK for 3 weeks

Hello Patreon family, it’s been 4 years since I was last able to visit loved ones in my homeland of Scotland, and the time and conditions have finally come for me to be able to see my family, so I’m taking a break for three weeks.

I won’t be taking a camera, just my mobile phone and a steady stick, but if I find anything interesting along my travels that could be good for the channel, I’ll be sure to post it up here, that said, however, as I won’t have access to my editing software and hardware, the usual videos will not be produced for the next 4 weeks.

On the editing bed (yes still) is Back to the BBS, part 8, which covers the ANSI scene. So that will be waiting for me when I get back. It’s around half way done. There’s also a heap of other good material which will probably come in fairly short order after then.

In the meantime, if you haven’t had a chance to check out my recent interview with author of “The Modem World”, Kevin Driscoll, I would highly recommend you watch that, Kevin has some great insights that I reckon that many of the viewers would be interested in.

Thank you all again for your continued support on Patreon, please do furnish me with any ideas you’d like to see, I’d be happy to hear your ideas. And if you want to support the channel even more, please share any of my back catalogue of videos with your friends on social media, Reddit, etc. I’d really like to make the channel a popular one (I was thinking about 10k+ subscribers). We are at 3.2k at the moment, I know we can do it!

Cheers and see you all in around 4 weeks!
